How to Clean Your Slow Cooker

slow cooker cleaningAll you’ll need for this tip is one can of aluminum safe oven cleaner and a scrubby sponge. Make sure to check the label to be assured that it is oven safe.

Go to a well-ventilated or outdoor area and spray an even coat on the inside of the cooker. After you have a nice coat of foam, let the cooker sit for a couple of hours. Wipe the foam with the sponge and then apply extra pressure to areas that are heavily stained.  Repeat if necessary.
